Meeting Particulars

Tuesday, April13, 2010. Registration and net-working at 6:00pm.

Meeting at 7:00pm.

Scottish Rite Center, 1895 Camino del Rio South, San Diego CA, 92108

$10 for members, $20 for non-members

 

It will be a two hour presentation:

  1. the first part will be an introduction to barter and exchanging followed by a personal property exchange; the break and
  2. the last part will be an introduction to creative financing education followed by a real estate exchange. Michael Kole of Koleco Financial will assist Bill.


Attendees are encouraged to bring either a personal item or real estate to trade (either the item or a picture and a description will suffice). They may not participate in the actual presentation however they can approach the owners of something they want after the meeting.

Bill Tan

Bill is the President of the SDCIA, San Diego Creative Investment Assn. He rarely speaks to the group about what he does or how he runs his business. Most members have no idea what he actually does.

Bill is an investment property expert with over 20 years of experience in real estate investments, the note business, hard money lending and real estate exchanging. He helps  clients achieve their dreams through real estate and mortgage investments. His clients rely on his business insight and industry knowledge to identify investment opportunities in real estate, notes, hard money lending and use of the tax laws which translate into secured investments that generate monthly income and profit.

Bill succeeds by understanding his clients' investment goals, thinking quickly and creatively to develop effective strategies and deliver desired results.

Michael Kole

Michael KoleMichael has been actively involved in the real estate business since 1969. Prior to moving from Chicago to San Diego in 1978 he owned 2 Century 21 franchises.
He has been involved in real estate exchanging since 1971.  His mentor was Warren Harding who also mentored John Schaub, Peter Fortunato, Jack Miller, and Jimmy Napier.
 
Michael has owned real estate in 23 different states which he acquired through creative financing.  He believes “that there is no such a thing as bad real estate, only uncomfortable circumstances of ownership.”
 
He is broker/owner of Koleco Financial through which he has been actively originating and placing loans in San Diego since 1989.
 
He states that today’s economic conditions makes today’s real estate market optimal for real estate exchanging. “There are 101 ways to acquire real estate and cash is only one of them. Open your eyes and see the opportunities around you.”
