He currently owns and operates The San Diego Home Buyer (buying, renovating, renting and selling in San Diego), is co-founder of Coastwood Capital (a real estate investment fundraising and management company) and publisher of The Real Report (a weekly real estate e-newsletter). Brian's an open book, so ask him anything.
Alec Manocchio - Fix n Flip
Alec started his real estate career in 1986 as a rental agent in the Back Bay section of Boston. Eventually he moved to California, and gave real estate a break until 2002 when he got into appraisals. He grew a great appraisal business and sold it in 2007. Intrigued by the foreclosure process, by 2009 Alec felt it was time to get in the game. He found the education he needed locally from Ward Hanigan. Alec went on to buy about 125 properties at the trustee sale. Today, with the help of his wife Nina, are still flipping properties, doing our best to stay one step ahead of an always dynamic real estate market here in San Diego.
